My name is Jill. I am the owner of Prospect Flower Farm and maker of all things pretty!

I have loved flowers for as long as I can remember. I got my head start with gardening when I was in our local 4-H program as a child and have never looked back. The thought of turning this love for gardening into a business has never crossed my mind until I was trying to find an outlet with a purpose.

I will not be your traditional, out of the box florist. My work will never look like the stand images you may search for either. Is there anything wrong with that? Absolutely not. But I want to be very upfront when you are looking for someone to work with.

My mission is to operate on designer’s choice and best practice methods. How I operate will be a little different than most florists. I also will be sourcing locally farmed flowers through flower exchanges and local flower farm friends I have made along the way. That means when you buy bouquets from me, you will be getting true local farm flowers. Supporting Local Agriculture. If they were not grown by me, I will be able to tell you who grew them.
